Weathermaster Eye Exam
Can You See the Difference? Our Insulator Series windows are the best-built, most energy-efficient windows we carry. Crafted of premium components, each window incorporates standard features often unavailable even as options on other brands of windows.
InsulatorTM standard features include:
- Fiberglass and poly-foam filled frame and sash extrusions
NOTE: Most vinyl windows are hollow-- not our Insulator windows. Imagine if the walls of your home were hollow...
- Galvanized steel reinforcement in the horizontal rails provides a solid anchor for locks, is foam-insulated for warmth, and virtually eliminates the warping prevalent on many other vinyl windows.
- Double-strength glass is thicker and twice as strong as standard window glass; InsulatorTM windows are built from two panes of double-strength glass, an optimal 7/8" thick.
- The Insulator glass package. This includes the highest rated low E coatings such as PPG's Solarban 60, Solarban 70 or Heat MirrorTM, the best available warm-edge spacer systems, plus argon or krypton gas filling.
- All Insulator Series windows are ENERGY STAR certified to exceed special high efficiency standards and specifications as set by the U.S. Department of Energy. In fact, Insulator windows are so advanced, they exceed standards set for the entire country, not just the central U.S. region where we are located. So, even when temperatures dip to sub-freezing wintertime lows prevalent only in Missoula, Montana, or reach the baking summertime highs of Tucson, Arizona, rest assured your Insulator windows are affording the best protection available on the market today. A window must exceed all ENERGY STAR specifications in order to be a member of our Insulator Series.
Be sure to ask about the following InsulatorTM Series windows:
